In my Cupcake shop project, I applied my basic front-end development skills to build a visually engaging and responsive web page that reflects a playful yet professional brand identity. I built a Vanilla JavaScript weather app in SheCodes Plus, an advanced 8-week JavaScript coding workshop. Building upon my previously-gained knowledge, I also became skilled in Bootstrap, API’s, real-life development workflow, hosting, and advanced JavaScript. I combined all of these skills to create a fully-functioning weather app.

The app features dynamically updating clocks for multiple time zones, built using JavaScript’s Date object and setInterval for seamless, real-time updates. I implemented elegant layout techniques with CSS Flexbox/Grid to ensure the design adapts fluidly to desktop and mobile screens, and integrated intuitive UI controls—like adding or removing clocks—which demonstrates my attention to user experience and state management. This project reflects my ability to fuse functional programming, responsive design principles, and interactive interface elements into a polished, user-centric application—skills I’m eager to bring to your team.
